Karl Schaeffer PE, PMP has over 29 years experience in the energy industry including over 24 years in the Alaska Oil Patch. He has been formally focused on project management for the past 10 years. His industry experience includes all phases of engineering, procurement and construction of oil production, processing and transportation facilities. Karl’s most recent assignment was as Onsite Project Engineer for a multimillion dollar green-fields heavy oil production facility on the North Slope of Alaska. Karl’s involvement in PMI includes VP Publicity of the Alaska Chapter of PMI and PMP Refresher course instructor.
