Sharon Sikes, PMP has 27 years of experience in various project management areas with     successful and sometimes difficult projects in government and private sectors.     Her industry experience includes construction, engineering, information technology, oil and     gas,environmental, safety and health projects. She has been an active PMI volunteer since 1997 serving as: 1998 PMI Symposium Project Manager, 1999 PMI Nominating Committee, received the 1999 Distinguished Contribution Award, 2000-2002 Seminars/ Symposium Management Advisory Group (MAG), 2000-2001 Central Illinois Chapter President, 2002-2003 PMI Ethics Appeals Committee, 2003-2004 PMI North American Conference Project Action Team (CoPAT) Team, and 2003-2006 President Troubled Projects SIG. She has attended the last 15 leadership meetings.
